About Nikki Sinclaire

Nikki has been elected one of the six MEPs from the West Midlands Region in the EU election of 4th June 2009.

However, Nikki is proactively campaigning for her own redundancy and the redundancy of all UK MEPs because she believes that the UK should leave the EU and be governed by our own parliment in Westminster.

Nikki says "It is wrong that 75% of our laws are made by the EU - laws that are often problematic for our industry, jobs and our infrastructure."

The amount of money wasted in the EU is an issue that vexes Nikki, "The EU takes £40 million a day of our money - money better spent in this country, where we need it most, on our hospitals, on our schools and supporting our pensioners."

Nikki meets prominent Zimbabwe rights campaigners Okay Machisa and Basilton Peta. "We British are acutely aware of the appalling sufferings of the people of Zimbabwe - indeed many Britons have close family ties with that nation."
